Aspen Writer’s Foundation Welcomes the 34th Annual Summer Words

logo21The 34th Annual Summer Words festival has arrived, June 22-June 26. The Aspen Writer’s Foundation presents authors, songwriters and poets from the American South, for this year’s literary theme. The Aspen Institute presents humanitarian, world-renowned photographer and author Norm Gershman, with Besa: Muslims Who Saved Jews in WWII. Hear the story behind one of history’s most surprising tales, as Gershman talks about photographing Albanian Muslims who risked life and limb to harbor Jews in need.
