This year's Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS) Labor Day Festival will take place on Friday, August 31 – Sunday, September 2. To get in on all of the fun, music lovers can purchase the 3-Day Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Festival Pass at $175. There will also be a Patron (VIP) section near the concert stage, offering a fun, exclusive experience with food and drink as well as excellent, close views of the live musical performances. Patron (VIP) Gold and Silver Tickets are still available for shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Purchase of a Patron Gold Ticket includes table seating in the Gold section, an open bar, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dessert, patron parking, and access to a side stage concert viewing balcony. Patron Gold 3-Day Passes are also currently on sale, and offer reserved seating in the table area. With the Silver Patron Ticket, the advantages are similar to that of the Gold Ticket and Gold 3-Day Pass except there is open seating in the patron section rather than in the table section. A portion of the each Gold and Silver Ticket and Pass are tax deductible. Tickets and Passes for the JAS Labor Day Festival are selling fast, so if a Labor Day vacation in Snowmass is in the cards, it is highly recommended to purchase a Ticket or Pass as soon as possible. There is an all-star line-up of musicians at the JAS Labor Day Festival this year. The fun begins on Friday evening with the Steve Miller Band, a group of talented musicians known for delivering a smashing and energizing performance of blues and rock music. Following the Steve Miller Band will be Sugarland, who will also take to the main stage. The award-winning country pop group is slated to perform inspiring, rhythmic, and heavy-hitting tunes from their new album The Incredible Machine. Friday performances are rounded out with concerts by Lauren Alaina, an American Idol superstar with a powerful voice sure to strike awe in the crowd, and by Canaan Smith, a country music singer and songwriter who spins intricately beautiful and emotional stories into his heartfelt and daring lyrics. Performances on Saturday, September 1 include Saints of Valory, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Mumford & Sons, and Nathaniel Rateliff. The funky and rocking show sure to be put on by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will feature their unique sound coined as “Supafunkrock” by the band's leader, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews. Kid Rock and Michael Franti and Spearhead will show off their music talents on the main stage Sunday, September 2.
