When is the best time of year to visit Snowmass?

While Snowmass is best-known for its abundance of winter sports and wide open terrain, there is no bad time to visit Snowmass! You can’t go wrong when deciding where to stay in Snowmass. Almost anywhere you stay is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, and either walkable or a short shuttle ride from the Village. Snowmass Village — which includes the recently added Collective — is the continually evolving hub of activity for adults and families alike, any time of year.

How to get to Snowmass, Colorado?

People living between Aspen and either Denver or Grand Junction, CO most often choose to drive to Snowmass via I-70, CO 82, and Brush Creek Road. There is also a frequent shuttle between Denver and Snowmass called Colorado Mountain Express. People living farther away generally choose to fly either part or all of the way to Snowmass. The closest airports are Aspen Sardy Field (ASE — 7 miles from Snowmass),  Eagle County Airport (EGE — 67 miles from Snowmass), Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT — 126 miles from Snowmass), and Denver International Airport (DIA — 219 miles from Snowmass).
