Welcoming the Winter Back to Aspen and Snowmass with World Cup in November

The Thanksgiving holiday in Aspen marks the return of the winter ski season with the Aspen Winternational Audi FIS Alpine World Cup to be held on November 24 – 25, 2012. The most talented female skiers rip up the slopes of Aspen Mountain during the slalom and giant slalom races. Being a town full of skiing enthusiasts, Aspen is the perfect location for the World Cup. There is much to enjoy during Aspen Winternational and the World Cup. A fireworks display is scheduled for November 24 at the base of Aspen Mountain on the Little Nell run. Also on November 24 will be the first concert in the popular Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series. All of the Bud Light Hi-Fi concerts are free and open to the public, and this first concert during Aspen Winternational and the World Cup will be held at the Aspen Mountain Gondola Plaza. After the sun has set on Aspen Mountain and the slalom and giant slalom races have wrapped up for the day, the Bud Light Dine Around begins as part of this year's Aspen Winternational.
