Winter’s on its way in Snowmass, and everyone is looking forward to these fun Snowmass events on the schedule for winter 2016-2017. Add them to your calendar and vacation itinerary!

Moonlit Trek & Dinner

Cross country ski and snowshoe under a blanket of twinkling stars to Anderson Ranch Arts Center, where the great men and women of the Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Department await you with a steaming mug of hot cocoa and smiles. Next, trek over to the Snowmass Club for a pasta dinner. Enjoy this fun community event throughout the winter on December 17, January 14, February 11, and March 11.

Snowmass Holiday Fun

Capture the spirit of the holiday season in Snowmass with a magical tree lighting ceremony; cookies and hot cocoa; letters to Santa; carolers; a moving performance of Handel’s “Messiah” at the Snowmass Chapel; and visits and photos with Santa.

New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Snowmass with the exciting Torchlight Parade on Snowmass Mountain, followed by a fireworks show. Families with children 8 and older can sign up to participate in the Torchlight Parade.

Owl Creek Chase

Competitors cover 21 kilometers during this annual cross country ski event that starts in Snowmass Village and ends in Aspen. Join in on the fun February 12.

Mardi Gras Celebration

Snowmass knows how to celebrate Mardi Gras. On February 28, check out the Mardi Gras Parade; catch a pound or more of colorful necklaces during the bead toss; have a slice of King Cake; and meet the Mardi King and Queen.
