Snowmass Celebrates 50th Anniversary
This December, we’re celebrating Snowmass Mountain’s 50th anniversary! Weekend highlights include the Elk Camp Retro Party on Friday, December 15, where party-goers will show up in their best vintage ski gear. On Saturday, December 16, Snowmass Banana Days will return with a scavenger hunt for 1,967 plastic bananas, with some bananas offering big prizes. On Sunday, December 17, don’t miss the cabin jump and community picnic at Spider Sabich.

Breathtaker Alpine Coaster
Snowmass has more to celebrate this December, as the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster will open. Check out the new coaster at Elk Camp Meadows near the top of the Elk Camp Gondola.

New Snowmass Restaurants
This winter in Snowmass, check out these 2 new Snowmass restaurants. TORO Latin Kitchen & Lounge, formerly Eight K at Viceroy Snowmass, opens its doors December 15, and will serve dishes with flavors from all over Latin American. State 38, formerly Ricard Brasserie, specializes in Rocky Mountain cuisine, so expect dishes featuring trout, elk, bison, and the like.
