Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro
Restaurant French Aspen Aspen Highlands
During a day of skiing on Aspen Highlands Mountain, the best place to enjoy a feast fit for an epicure is at Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro, a restaurant located inside of a quaint and cozy European ski hut at the top of the Cloud Nine lift. Before a breathtaking view of Pyramid Peak and Maroon Peak, guests dine on raclette, fondue, and other European alpine specialties. In addition to their outstanding lunch service, on Thursday evenings throughout the winter ski season, Cloud Nine hosts snowcat dinners, during which guests are brought to and from the restaurant by snowcat. Reservations are highly recommended for both lunch and dinner.

Jour de Fete
Restaurant Family Friendly French Aspen Central Core
We were honored to receive the official Aspen Times title of Best Breakfast in Aspen, as well as second Best Coffee and third Best Sandwich Shop in 2019! A mainstay of the Aspen cafe scene since the late 1980s, Jour de Fete is a local favorite for breakfast and lunch. Known for their French specialties and their homestyle cooking, Jour de Fete offers a wide selection of breakfast pastries and espresso drinks in the morning, and for lunch, they have an extensive hot and cold sandwich menu. In addition, they are well known for their prepared dishes, including pasta, sauteed vegetables, roasted meats, and the like. Make a visit before they close to pick up that evening's dinner. Any meal of the day, Jour de Fete is certain to satisfy!
