Bring your A game when you play 18 holes at the Snowmass Club Golf Course. The Snowmass golf club is known for its challenging play and beautiful mountain views. And when you’re ready to set your clubs aside for the day, you can enjoy a leisurely lunch, or relax over après appetizers and cocktails at the Snowmass Clubhouse restaurant, the Black Saddle Bar & Grill. Whether you had a stellar day or only an okay day on the course, leave it behind. Now’s the time to take in the scenery, the fresh mountain air, and the good company!
After one round, you’ll want another shot or two at the Snowmass Club Golf Course. If you’re an avid golfer, we recommend that you stay at the Snowmass Club Residences. This way, you’re right on the course, ready for a new day on the greens.
The Snowmass Club is private, but the golf course is open to the public during select tee times. Please inquire with our concierge about current public tee times.

In Colorado, there are lots of places to ski and party, but few places are like Snowmass during Mardi Gras. In Snowmass, you get the best of both worlds. The Snowmass Mardi Gras celebration is like having a little piece of New Orleans right in the heart of the Rockies.
If you've got the ambition, you can wake up early for the Mother of All Ascensions, an uphill race on Snowmass Mountain featuring costumed competitors.
Though, if waking up early on a day of indulgence is not your thing, sleep in, re-energize, hit the slopes, and then, get ready for the party that afternoon.
In the afternoon, grab a spot in the Snowmass Village Mall for the bead throw. Just like in New Orleans, you can get away with a literal armload of Mardi Gras beads. In past Mardi Gras fêtes, Snowmass bead throwers have tossed out 30,000 strings of beads in one afternoon! So, head to the Mall, and catch a few strands for yourself.
And of course, no Mardi Gras celebration is complete without a parade. See the Mardi Gras King and Queen wave to the crowds from their regal float, and check out the other festive crafts.
Snowmass keeps Mardi Gras a family-friendly event with a kids' carnival, where there are entertaining and friendly Mardi Gras clowns, free face painting, and other fun Fat Tuesday kids' activities.
